A day in the life of a volunteer adventurer
Every day on the reserve brings something new, but here’s what a typical day might look like:
- 6:30 AM – Wake up to the sounds of the bush and grab a quick coffee.
- 7:00 AM – Morning game drive or animal tracking with the conservation team.
- 9:00 AM – Breakfast back at camp and time to log any early findings.
- 10:30 AM – Fieldwork: research tasks, habitat work, or supporting anti-poaching efforts.
- 1:00 PM – Lunch and downtime, maybe a nap or journal session.
- 3:00 PM – Afternoon project work like camera trap checks, data input, or invasive species removal.
- 6:30 PM – Dinner around the fire pit with the team, followed by star gazing and stories under the stars.
