Our 14-Day Veterinary Expedition in South Africa offers an unparalleled opportunity to work directly with wildlife and make a difference in conservation efforts. Imagine darting from a helicopter, assisting in the sterilisation and collaring of lions, or participating in the microchipping of rhinos and buffaloes. It’s an adventure that combines hands-on veterinary work with the thrill of the wild.

What You’ll Experience:

• Lion Work: Types of lion work – sterilisation or contraception implant, translocation or fitment of radio collar
• Rhino Work – Types of rhino work – radio collaring or microchipping or dehorning or translocation
• Buffalo Work – Types of buffalo work – translocation, disease testing and blood drawing, microchipping
• Darting Introduction and Training – Basic introduction to darting equipment and procedures, darting practice (target),helicopter darting experience (darting moving targets from the air)
• Kruger National Park tour – 2 days/one night guided tour in The Kruger National Park. Meals in Kruger and personal entrance fees are extra.
• Lion Sanctuary Experience – Experience life on our lion sanctuary and assist with daily care and enrichment programs
