Mother shot - baby saved at Wildlife Sanctuary

Mother shot - baby saved at Wildlife Sanctuary

Author -  Vicki Kenny

We say a huge hello to a tiny baboon baby.

Found clinging to his mother’s dead body, having survived the horrific ordeal of her shooting, this wee bundle, estimated to be just two weeks old, was quickly delivered into the hands of the Wildlife Sanctuary team.

Needless to say, he is now doted on by staff and volunteers, with the more maternal females of the young baboon troop fighting for his affection.

Welcome to the Wildlife Sanctuary world, little one!
